Did you know today is World Day for Assistive Technology? Assistive technology allows people with disabilities of all kinds to move through the world with greater independence.
At Oakland, we're celebrating this day by highlighting the So EveryBody Can Move (SEBCM) movement because mobility shouldn't stop at basic function.

Many insurance plans still won't cover prosthetic legs designed for running, sports, and other physical activities. Physical activity is a right, not a privilege.

Want to be part of disability advocacy?
Save the date and join us on July 29 from 4–7 PM at Haithco Park in Saginaw for the ADA Celebration Picnic. There will be live music, food, games, and a screening of the So EveryBody Can Move documentary, premiering this July.
