Holland’s Boat Shop Inc. is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our Lay-Up Shop!

We’re a laid-back shop with an experienced crew that has been working together for many years. We take pride in building quality boats and are looking for someone who is ready to become part of the team.

The Position:

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with a competitive hourly rate based on experience.

Training schedule: M-F 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

The position will primarily focus on fiberglass lay-up, but depending on the project, there may also be times you work alongside our crew in the Finish Shop.

What We’re Looking For...

The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Comes to work ready to get the job done

• Has a positive attitude and works well with others

• Is dependable and takes pride in their work

• Is comfortable with the physical demands of the job, including climbing into and working inside boat molds

• Has a general understanding of fiberglass and lay-up processes

Fiberglass experience is preferred, but we’re willing to consider the right person who is motivated, dependable, and ready to learn the trade.

14' Hull #176

This 14' was built with one idea in mind. Go fast. She's got a lightweight composite construction, bow storage, and extra cleats for protecting that beautiful black finish. This is the perfect weekend toy for the family. Tow a tube, take the water skis out, or toss anchor on the lake and enjoy the day.

14' Hull #174

This is a new interior layout we've come up with that we believe maximizes space around the boat when a console is installed.

This one includes our new molded jump seat console, as well as a v-berth with storage, and a small washboard in the stern corner for hauling recreational traps. We added a couple pieces of varnished teak to dress her up for the job as well. She's got a bilge pump, stainless hardware, six position fuse panel, and running lights for a night ride.

It is always enjoyable to try a new interior in these little boats, and we think this one will be a great new addition to the standard layouts.

⚓ What’s Going On in the Shop ⚓

Things have been busy here, and we’re excited to share a few updates!

Our new 20’ plug is almost complete, and we’re on track to begin laying up hulls by the beginning of June. We are officially accepting new orders for the 20’, so if you’ve been thinking about one, now is the time to reach out.

Our peapod is still for sale and ready for its new owner!

Meanwhile, our crew is also hard at work on several 14’s in the shop, keeping the momentum going.

We are also accepting orders for new boats and have availability to begin builds starting this summer.
