We’re heartbroken over the recent loss of our dear friend, Bobby. His energy, kindness, and passion for fishing—especially swordfishing—left an unforgettable mark on all of us.

In honor of Bobby’s love for the sport and the impact he had on this community, we’re proud to announce that the upcoming Swordfish Shootout is being renamed in his memory.

Happy new year to all. Me and Bobby just wanted to let everyone know that we did sell all the cottages in 2019. We sold them individually to some very nice folks under a home owners associated setup. Some of these folks are interested in renting their respective cottage and if you have any interest, call Liz Fountain at Lake Home Group Reality at 207 - 592 - 5990. We want to thank all of our loyal customers and friends for your business and support over the past 20 years and we truly enjoyed the experience. We hope everyone is getting through the winter ok knowing that spring is on it’s way. We wanted to give everyone another update on the sale of the cottages. We sold #5 in 2018 and we have a friend renting #7 full time and is acting as the caretaker of the property. The remaining cottages are still for sale. We are rethinking our strategy on cottage sales/rentals and unlike 2018, we plan to rent the other cottages ( #1, #2, #3, #4 and #6) in 2019 while they are still for sale. We also changed the legal sales description of the cottages and they will not be sold as condo units as previously described and instead will be sold as individual cottages, each with there own deeded plot of land in a unit owners association. Please contact us if you have any other questions about the sale of the cottages or a rental for the 2019 season. We have already started to fill some weeks for spring fishing and the summer season. To all our loyal customers, friends and family, this is a short note to let you know that we have recently decided to sell all the cottages. My Dad is retiring at the end of this year from his full time job of 35 years and we plan to spend winters along the southeast coast of Florida with our family, pursuing our love of fishing and the ocean. We sincerely thank all of you for your friendship and business over the past 17 years and hope to see you again sometime. There are many nice cottages in the Belgrade Lakes area to rent and we hope that you can locate suitable ones.

As far as the sale of the cottages go, we plan to sell each cottage as fully furnished individually owned condo units with deeded lake access, a boat slip and other amenities. We are presently working on the logistics of this project and plan to have everything in place so we can start selling the cottages before the spring of 2018. If anyone is interested, please give us a call or send us an email and we can provide additional information about the sale.
