The Mary Rutan Foundation is now accepting applications for its EMT (Basic) Scholarship Program for Logan County residents pursuing EMT certification.

Scholarships provide $1,000 in support:
* $500 upon enrollment in an approved EMT Basic program
* $500 after successful completion of the program

Randy Mantooth, beloved for his role as paramedic John Gage on 'Emergency!,' has died at age 80. His work inspired generations of EMS providers and helped bring prehospital care into the spotlight.

Today marks the last shift for Shannon Reames at Robinaugh EMS. Shannon has been with us for 26 years both full and part time and has done thousand of calls over the years. He retired from the fire service at Bellefontaine Fire Department in 2024 but has remained here until today. We wish him well and thank him for all he has done for us over these years. He will always be part of our family.
