Is your clear coat peeling?
It shouldn't be.

Automotive paint and gel coat do not mix, no matter how you mix and prep. Sometimes a new clear coat isn't needed. All this boat needed (after taking off the automitve clear coat), was wetsanding and polishing. We were able to restore this 90s boat back to its glory days.

Some people are curious about our process when repairing fiberglass. Here is a little look into the kind of work we put in.

A spot as small as 3 inches makes about a 2-3 foot workable area. Why? To make sure the work is flawless we have to blend in every layer that goes into the repair. We make sure that the problem is cut out and repaired back to new, if not better.

What's your biggest pet peeve about a repair shop?

I'll go first. I hate when I pick up a vehicle/boat and its dirtier than when I dropped it off.

Our promise at Joe's Fiberglass, no matter what service you recieve, we will make sure your boat leaves beautiful. Each customer receives a free $100 wipedown service when we pull your boat in.

Not only do we like our customers happy, but we want them safe too. We make sure no fiberglass, or fiberglass dust is left on your vessel.
