I’ve just returned from my trip to Poland and Ukraine for Rebuild Ukraine, and this journey touched me in ways that are hard to put into words.
For me, Ukraine is not just another destination — it is my fatherland. Coming back during such a difficult time, seeing the strength of the people, the determination in their eyes, and the unity that binds them… it hit me deeply. Everywhere I went, from Warsaw to Lviv, I felt a powerful sense of solidarity — not just spoken, but lived every single day.
Lviv especially moved me.
It’s a city that continues to show life, warmth, and humanity in the most abnormal times imaginable. You walk the streets and see children playing, friends gathering, cafés full of laughter — all while knowing the reality that lies just beyond the horizon. The resilience of the Ukrainian spirit is something extraordinary.
Being there reminded me why rebuilding matters. Not just infrastructure — but hope, dignity, and the future of a nation I hold close to my heart.
I am grateful for the hospitality, the genuine conversations, and the meaningful connections made on this trip. I left inspired, humbled, and more committed than ever to supporting Ukraine’s recovery in any way I can.
Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦💛💙
