Been wishing Uber was back at BLI? We hear you.

After more than four years, Uber service returns on June 15 to both Bellingham International Airport and The Bellingham Cruise Terminal.

With Uber back in service, passengers arriving at and departing from Bellingham International Airport will once again be able to request rides directly through the Uber app. Cruise passengers using the Bellingham Cruise Terminal will gain the same access, making it easier to connect to and from these transportation hubs.

Last week, our Airport Rescue Firefighter crew carried out a traditional water cannon salute at Bellingham International Airport to honor a retiring Airlines pilot.

This aviation tradition recognizes a career spent safely transporting passengers and supporting the life of the airport community. We’re grateful for the years of service they’ve dedicated here at BLI and the role they’ve played in making BLI great.

Wishing them all the best in retirement.

Big news for Bellingham travelers… Alaska Airlines is adding a second daily flight on the BLI–PDX route!

When they launched this nonstop service back in March (the first time Bellingham had a direct Portland International Airport connection in nearly eight years), the response from our community was so strong that Alaska is already doubling the schedule.
Effective November 1st, you can catch a midday flight in either direction: PDX → BLI arrives at 11:55 AM, and BLI → PDX departs at 12:35 PM opening same-day connections through Portland's massive network of 65+ nonstop destinations.

But we're not stopping there. We're actively working to bring more destinations, more routes, and more frequent service to our region because this community deserves it. The incredible support you've shown BLI and our current routes keeps us going, and we couldn't be more grateful to every traveler who continues to make BLI their airport of choice.
Every flight you take here sends a powerful message to airlines: this community shows up. So keep flying BLI.
