Requirements/Responsibilities

-2nd Shift Monday-Friday

-Must have a valid Driver's License

-Must have relevant work experience

-Performing preventative maintenance on tractor and trailers including oil changes, greasing, inspecting and washing.

-Diagnosing and repairing of tractor and trailer air brake systems

-Diagnosing and repairing of tractor and trailer tires (patching, plugging, and changing)

-Diagnosing and repairing tractor and trailer electrical problems

-Moving equipment in and around a shop environment. A CDL is encouraged, but not required.

-Moving product in and out of trailers

-Maintaining a clean work environment

Job requires the performance of preventative maintenance and repairs of tractor trailers. Experience is encouraged, but not required. It is recommended to have forklift experience and cdl.

Daily tasks vary from day to day. We maintain our own fleet and do our own service calls.

Being family owned and operated since 1982 leads to becoming one of the most driver friendly trucking companies to work for in the region. Drivers typically make 2 to 5 stops daily with routes changing every day. One to two nights a week of sleeping in truck. Shop in Beloit, WI with a warehouse for increased freight capacity, and dedicated mechanics for fast repairs.

- Full time with plenty of opportunity for over-time and optional weekend hours.

- 1st shift. Regular start time is 6:00 or 7:00 but can be adjusted to accommodate the driver's or customer's schedule.

- QSHERA Health Savings Plan

- CDL-A license required.

- Experience hauling 53' dry vans required.

- Pay based on experience.

- Must be able to navigate independently and keep accurate records.

- Drivers home daily unless taking OTR loads.

- Drivers earn hourly wage with paid overtime.

- Deliveries Midwest region, mostly to WI and IL

- No touch freight.
