Hey Grand Lakers have you seen the 7 day weather forecast? Its all neck deep temperatures. Meaning the only way to survive is get neck deep and float in the lake.
Nobody wants to worry about boat problems in these temps either so let us deal with that.

Sometimes you hate getting calls like this one...nobody likes getting word that a local charter caught fire even after you know everyone was safe and Monkey Island fire dept did what they do best and GRDA made sure people were in the right places and took care of.
So when I got this call I knew This particular charter vessel was meticulously maintained by a great charter Captain and it just goes to show you never know when something bad can happen.
Always check your insurance policy before these days come along and ask questions...the unofficial rumor is that the Cap is shopping hard for her replacement and Sail Grand will be back bigger and better soon...Thanks to Jason Thomas and Mick Salee this recovery went smooth and safe and she is off the water for good.

Happy Fourth of July folks and let us never forget the cost of all this we have around us. Please teach our littles how our freedoms were never free and how lucky we are that God made us Americans.
I for one am very grateful 🙏 and pray nobody ever trys to see how bad we still want it.
Have a blast out there be safe and nice to each other, assume the other guy doesnt see you and most importantly have an absolute blast with family and friends on the 250th special day

Its Fourth of July time 2026 on Grand Lake and its going to be a good one with the 250th celebration...I am pushing the fireworks barge down from Honeycreek Marina that Elite Dock graciously donated to the Disney Fireworks show thank you Elite dock guys you all rock.
Yes the lake is up but its actually pretty clean as far as debris floaters go...there is one huge log just out from The Landings Marina maybe a 1/4 of a mile...but as always keep a lookout with all the extra traffic.

Hey Grand Lakers its finally here...4th of July 250th edition, dont forget why we get to celebrate and have fun out here like we do.
Teach our littles the cost of freedom and pray nobody wants to check us on how much we appreciate it because that price is high.
We all know the Duck Creek Fireworks show will be amazing this year and they are ready now...be safe that night and watch out after each other but most importantly have an absolute blast out there....we are always a phone call away 918-782-8600
