Overview/Description:
This is a high-energy position, requiring a willingness for negotiating and securing commitments from our national network of freight carriers to ship our customer’s freight.
Full-Time, 40 hours per week OR Part Time, M-F, no weekends required.
Responsibilities:
- Search for and identify carriers that are the most well suited to move a particular load
- Convey client requirements and negotiate shipment schedule, terms and rates
- Create and Manage Load Documents:
- Create, edit and provide load confirmations
- Receive signed rate confirmations
- Receive POD’s, BOL’s, etc (Proof of Delivery/Bill Of Lading)
- Schedule load pickup and delivery times
- Conduct periodic check-in’s with carriers to accurately track the movement of the shipment
- Assist management with mitigating claims and other complications
- Vet carriers against minimum standards and complete the necessary contracting
- Track our carriers trucks and know where they will need loads
- Build relationships with select carriers to determine specialties and preferences and encourage repeat business

A script development and data management position assisting our busy office with the management of our database entries and load board postings. You will primarily ensure that the most current information is consistently represented in our system so that our agents and our carriers spend less time on inaccurate or unavailable customer submissions. You will also be responsible for maintaining current customer and vendor profiles, and may be asked to assist with other office-related tasks.
Responsibilities:

Help build and maintain data normalization tools (mostly Excel VBA & Python scripting) to expedite import

Transpose data constantly arriving by email as well as web-based lists into our database system

Manage system entries to reflect the most current information

Assist with other office-related tasks as requested

We are looking for a professional salesperson with experience in the Transportation & Logistics industry who will help us expand our customer base. This is an inside salary+ position, and we are looking for someone interested in growing with us. The position will be responsible for the entire sales cycle generating New Business as well as periodically managing the accounts obtained; load bookings will be performed by our Logistics Agents. We operate across the US and Canada and are excited to bring on any profitable work; business complementing our most frequent routs is particularly desirable.
Tri-Bros Transportation is located in the heart of downtown Binghamton behind the Metro Center, and we are expanding quickly! This is going to be the largest hiring year to-date with over 20 positions available and we need an excellent producer to keep our momentum going.

Overview/Description:
Full-Time, 40-hours per week, M-F, reports directly to ownership and the General Manager. Some weekend and evening work may be required as needed; limited travel expected.
A high-energy inside sales position selling our freight services to shippers national-wide. You will build a rich pipeline of potential shippers, develop those relationships, bring them on-board, hand-hold the process through the first 1 or 2 loads, and then transition the day-to-day management to our operations floor. This is largely a new business development position, but you will also be responsible for periodic check-ins with your customers to report on performance and inquire about new opportunities or partnership development; guaranteed and consistent freight is the goal.
The position may also include some responsibility to training new Logistics Agents.
Responsibilities:

Build a pipeline of potential customers;

Research Potential needs and build strong relationships, and be prepared to take advantage of opportunities when they arise;

Hand-hold the shipping process through the first few loads;

Complete monthly follow-up to review performance and build new opportunities and strengthen partnerships;

Assist with claims and other complications as they arise;

Potentially assist with training new Logistics Agents.
