Contractor Spotlight: Skip
This month’s Contractor Spotlight features Skip, a seasoned professional with 32 years behind the wheel and a work ethic that's as steady as they come. When he's on the road, Skip enjoys passing the miles with audiobooks, especially post-apocalyptic stories, and black ops thrillers. It's a great way to stay entertained while covering ground across the country.
One thing you might not expect is that Skip is an avid record collector. In fact, traveling for work gives him the opportunity to visit record stores across the country. He always keeps a stack of new finds ready to enjoy when he gets back home. After more than three decades in trucking, Skip says he doesn't have a single most memorable load because, as he puts it, they all tend to blend together after a while.
Outside of work, you'll likely find Skip at local car shows and meets. He's passionate about automobiles and owns two modified Mustangs that he enjoys showing off and working on. When asked what advice he'd give to other contractors, his answer was simple: "Hustle, hustle, hustle."
What Skip values most about being part of ACI is the people. He says the company feels like family because everyone does their part to support one another and help contractors succeed. As for the key to his success, Skip credits consistency and keeping his nose to the grindstone day after day.
We're proud to have Skip as part of the ACI family and appreciate the dedication, professionalism, and reliability he brings to the road every day. Help us show Skip some appreciation in the comments! 🚛👏
