What a special day for our EAA Chapter 1635, Young Eagles, held at Farmington today. A big thank you to everyone who volunteered, their time, their aircraft to give 39 rides. One family drove from Memphis to give their kids a chance to fly. Go parents!

Jacob started out in the club Cessna at Bonne Terre, picked me up at H57 (see video) to see progress at the Bismarck Nodule construction site. It's vertical! The weather came up quickly, Jacob decided to divert directly back to Bonne Terre, minutes later to divert to Farmington and take shelter. Wise decision indeed as you can see. Did the hop back to Bonne Terre after the storm had blown through, strong winds, bumpy, but greased her down despite the gusting wind behind the storm.
