This Mental Health Awareness Month, Hadaway Transport is proud to announce that beginning June 1st we will officially begin offering Behavioral Health Transportation services.

Behavioral health transportation helps safely transport individuals between hospitals, behavioral health facilities, treatment centers, emergency rooms, and other care providers when traditional transportation may not be appropriate.

Our team has completed extensive training and we have acquired a specially equipped vehicle with a safety partition to provide safe, respectful, and compassionate transportation for those in need.

You always have a way with Hadaway. 💙

📣 McLean County area friends: We need your help!
We have been exhaustively reaching out with no solutions and we're getting desperate. Do you know of an organization or business that has a stationary platform lift they would let us use for 1 day to make a stage accessible?
It needs to be able to go from flat surface to flat surface 4ft. off the ground, not to be used in a vehicle.

It's disability pride month and we know that someday our participation in community events will just be ordinary, but the reality is that it’s still an extraordinary effort for many people to shine bright in a world that wasn’t built for them. Can you help us create unrestricted access to the performing arts?

We need your help! Early Wednesday morning, an unidentified individual broke into our van yard and stole one of our Youth Program vehicles. These vehicles are essential to our daily operations and help us deliver services to the community. The theft is having a significant impact on our clients, as our Youth Program now faces the challenge of finding a replacement vehicle to transport the kids, or potentially canceling a field trip they've been excited about all week.

If you spot a van matching the description of ours, please contact the non-emergency police line and report its location. The vehicle can be identified by two magnets with our logo on the side, or rusted areas where the magnets may have been removed.

Starting Tuesday, December 31, all employees, patients and visitors at our hospitals are required to wear masks due to the widespread respiratory illnesses in our communities, including COVID-19, influenza and RSV.

Additionally, we are implementing a temporary visitor restriction: only two visitors (age 18+) per patient at a time.

Hadaway Transport is proud to have completed 30 free rides to the polls, with the majority being wheelchair-accessible trips for early voting.

People fought and sacrificed for the right to vote, and it was an honor to do our part to help our community make their voices heard.
