Hi guys! It's less than 24 hours to the start of The Armchair Adventure Festival!!!

The festival is already alive! We've smashed our fundraising target again and have now raised over £3000 before we've even got started!

Over 2000 people are signed up to attend and even more are flooding in!

Everyone at The Armchair Adventure Festival is working hard to make sure everything is good to go for tomorrow!
For those who have emailed in asking questions, sorry we haven't got back to you directly, we're just putting the finishing touches together but thought we'd put this post out to answer any FAQ's and to say see you all tomorrow!!

FAQ'S BELOW

Before The Festival

Q: How do I sign up?

Please visit https://armchairadventurefestival.com
and complete the sign up form at the bottom of the page. You will receive an email and will need to click “Yes, subscribe me to this list”. You will then receive a welcome email with more info.

Q: I signed up but didn’t receive an email…

Check your spam account. If the setup email hasn’t been received within 15 minutes, please complete the sign-up form again.

*It might be worth adding us as a contact to make sure the Armchair Adventure Festival email reaches you on the day.

Q: Where will the festival be streamed?

It will be streamed through the festival website. You will receive a link to the event on the day once you have signed up.

Q: Where can I view the schedule?

The schedule is available on the website at https://armchairadventurefestival.com/schedule

Q: What time zone is the event in?

UK time (BST), which is GMT+1

Q: I’m not in UK time zone, help?!

You can work out the time difference and still join us on the day. Sessions will also be recorded and available for a limited time so you will be able to catch up.

Q: What date is the event?

24th-26th April 2020. See the schedule for details of timings.

Q: Is the event free?

Yes, the event is completely free. We recognise that at such a difficult time money can be tight so there is no fee to attend. All we ask is that, if you can, please make a voluntary donation to the NHS Charities Together fund to aid the fight against COVID-19 through the Armchair Adventure Festival website.

Q: How do I make a donation?

Head to our Virgin Money Giving page. You can also access the page via the “Make a donation” button on the Armchair Adventure Festival website.

Q: Is a donation mandatory?

No, the donation is voluntary.

Q: Where can I hang out before the event?

The Armchair Adventure Festival private Facebook group. (You will receive a link in your welcome email once you sign up on the Armchair Adventure Festival website detailed above).

During The Festival

Q: How do I access sessions on the day?

Once you have signed up you will receive an email on the day with a unique link to access the event.

Q: Can I watch the festival on Facebook Live?

The sessions will not be live on Facebook. Please sign up via the form on https://armchairadventurefestival.com
for access to the streaming link on the day.

Q: Will the sessions be audio only or video too?

The sessions will include live video.

Q: How can I support the speakers?

Visit the Armchair Adventure Festival shop (coming soon).

Q: Will I be able to ask questions live?

There will be a live chat box you can use during the festival.

After The Festival

Q: Will I be able to watch sessions after the festival?

All sessions will be recorded and available to watch for a limited time after the event.
