NOTICE: Although President Trump signed an Executive Order regarding diesel last night, off-road CANNOT be used as on-road at this time in WI! Each state must authorize the use of off-road in on-road vehicles. This would be done through the Governor’s Office. Conversations with a Commercial Vehicle Inspector commented, “Through my contacts with WI Revenue Service and WI State Patrol, running off-road is NOT acceptable until the State agrees to these terms in WI!.”

Semi-truck diesel tanks will continue to be dipped until WI authorizes.

Position: CDL Class A Milk Hauler
Pay: Competitive wages based on experience

Requirements:

✅ Class A CDL
✅ Tanker Endorsement
✅ Good driving record
✅ Self-motivated and dependable
✅ Strong communication skills
✅ Have/willing to obtain a Bulk Sampler Weigher License
✅ Perform daily truck and trailer inspections/maintenance
✅ Keep equipment clean, including daily trailer washing

Job Duties:
Haul direct-ship milk from farms to processing plants
Complete daily inspections and maintenance checks
Maintain clean, professional equipment
Safely and efficiently transport loads

It was great to visit Green Valley Dairy in Krakow to tour the farm and discuss how I can continue advocating for our dairy farmers in Washington.

I was proud to support legislation like the Farm Bill and the Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act that will create new opportunities and allow them to continue to thrive for years to come.

The first regular shipment of milk from farm to processing plant was between Orange County, New York and New York City and began in 1841 (Americandairy.com). This was done by rail. Most milk is shipped to processing plants in varieties of straight trucks and tractor/trailers, like the one pictured.
