Labor Day Schedule
On Monday, 09/07/2026, fixed routes (Red, Green, Teal, Maroon, Gold, and Pop 105) will operate on a Sunday Schedule. the Gray Route will begin at 4 pm and run until 12:30 am.

The Gray Route will not run on Sunday, 09/06/2026.

There will be no rural route or Project on Aging service that day.

AppalCART has relocated the stop at the Crosswalk Signal Pedestrian Crossing on NC 105 to the new stoplight and pedestrian crossing located at the NC 105 @ Mountaineer Ridge intersection.

New schedule changes take effect 8-10-2026.
AppalCART will be operating on a hybrid of our normal schedule to better accommodate Move-In Week at App State and increased demand for service.
Routes will operate until 10 pm.
Blue/Gold and Purple will also operate until 10 pm.
Pink and Silver will operate until 6 pm.
Night Owl routes will run Th, Fri, and Sat.
Don’t forget to load our updated app “ETA Transit”.

AppalCART will begin Saturday service to the Watauga County Farmers’ Market during the fall and spring semesters at App State beginning Saturday, 8/15/2026 using the Gray route. The route will run from 9:05 am until 5:35 pm. A route map can be found at https://www.appalcart.com/route-maps-and-schedules

Saturday, 06/27/2026 Route Delays
Due to road closures along the parade route, there will be no service on King St from 12 pm - 1 pm. The Maroon Route and Pop 105 Route will not operate during this time.
