Let's talk more about Disney food!

On our last night at Walt Disney World, my husband and I decided to go to Steakhouse 71 inside the contemporary resort. I had been before with a couple of my girlfriends but he had never been, so I knew he had to go!

They have an amazing filet and just to let you know, Steakhouse 71 is only one table service credit on the Disney dining plan!! It is an amazing use of a dining credit! And the potatoes au gratin are second to none!

Since we were at fort wilderness we just took the little water taxi over the to the Contemporary and then went inside for our reservation! On the way back to the resort on the water taxi we saw Magic Kingdom fireworks from our boat and also passed the electric water pageant while it was on the water in front of a contemporary! We got so close it was amazing!

Thank you so much for coming along on our adventures at Walt Disney World!

While we are sad to be home, we are looking forward to our next Disney vacations which will include a seven night Alaskan cruise aboard the Disney Magic and a 10-day Walt Disney World vacation with our grandson! Both coming in 2027!

🏹 Did you know you can go ARCHERY at Walt Disney World?! 🎯

YES!! And it's just one of the many fun activities you can enjoy at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground!
The Fort Wilderness Archery Experience gives guests the opportunity to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow with guidance from Disney Cast Members! 🏹

One of the things I absolutely LOVE about Fort Wilderness is that there's SO much to do without ever stepping foot inside a theme park!

And here's something you might not know… you don't even have to be staying at Fort Wilderness to enjoy this experience! Reservations are recommended, and there is an additional cost.

As a Disney travel advisor, I always encourage my clients to schedule some downtime during their vacation. Disney is so much more than rides, shows, and character meet-and-greets!

We're spending our last full day at Fort Wilderness enjoying everything this amazing campground has to offer, and I'm already looking forward to coming back! ❤️

Today is our last full day at Walt Disney World, and I’m not ready to leave!! 🥹🏰❤️

We decided not to schedule any parks today because we want to spend the day enjoying one of our favorite places… Fort Wilderness Campground! 🌲⛺️

One of my absolute FAVORITE things to do here is ride around in our golf cart, explore the campground, and hide little surprises for other guests to find! And YES, there is actually a Facebook group dedicated to doing just that!! 😂🎁 It's so much fun knowing that something so small can put a smile on someone else's face!

We have had the BEST time this week, even though it has rained EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. ☔️🤣 But hey, that's just another excuse to buy a cute new rain jacket covered in Mickey heads, right?! 🐭❤️ You can't let a little rain ruin the Disney magic!

As much as I hate seeing this vacation come to an end, we are already talking about our NEXT trip back to Walt Disney World… and this one will be extra special because we're planning to bring our brand-new grandson!! 💙🥹 I absolutely cannot wait to experience Disney through his little eyes and start making those magical memories with him!

For now, I'm going to soak up every last minute of this trip, enjoy our golf cart rides, spread a little pixie dust around the campground, and pretend that tomorrow isn't checkout day! 😂✨

We are having a great time here at the fort wilderness cabins and campgrounds!

This is a great use of a quick service credit and a snack credit in the mornings. Here at the pioneer Hall trails end restaurant it is called a bounty platter. It comes with two pieces of bacon, a piece of sausage, eggs, loads of tater tots and a Mickey waffle and then the biscuits and gravy comes with three biscuits for a snack credit! Your quick service meal comes with a drink so you can get a bottle drink from the fridge. So everything is included for one quick service meal and one snack credit. It is enough to share!
