FCM Consulting has appointed Jason Kramer as Global Senior Air Consultant!

With nearly 30 years of experience in airlines, consulting, and product development, Kramer is tasked with continuing FCM Consulting’s advancement of its product portfolio, including their proprietary Air Contracting IQ (ACIQ) tool.

We recently pinpointed Charlotte ranking 16th in the U.S. for business travel destinations from July to September. Out of the top 20 cities, Charlotte has seen the most significant year-over-year growth (growth out of all the cities ranked in the top 20) in corporate travelers, with an 18% increase.

“Given its favorable location in the Southeast and being home to a major international airport, Charlotte has seen an influx in corporate travelers from all over the country, further strengthening its appeal as a business travel destination,” says Billy McDonough, President, FCM Americas.

Other factors leading to this ranking include significant airport renovation (Destination CLT) and the influx of young business professionals driven by a healthy job market. In terms of year-to-year increases in business travel, Charlotte has surpassed other major U.S. cities such as Atlanta and Dallas.
