✨ Travel Advisor Spotlight: Terri Cochran ✨

This month, we are thrilled to spotlight Terri Cochran! Terri and her husband have proudly owned Family Fun Travels since 2009. Based on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Terri leads an amazing team of 22 travel professionals located across the country. Together, they are passionate about helping clients create unforgettable travel experiences and making every journey one to remember.

Q: What inspired you to become a Travel Advisor?
A: I was inspired to become a travel advisor b/c I've always loved the joy that travel brings. Seeing new places, creating memories, & sharing those experiences with others. We've traveled with our children since they were young & now we are blessed to create new experiences & memories with our grown children & their families.

Q: What is one standout Europe itinerary or experience you’ve created for a client with Europe Express?
A: There are many in the past couple of years, but one of the most memorable & exciting was just recently when I helped a young man propose to his now fiancĂŠ on the water's edge of Lake Como at Villa del Balbianello in Italy. They'll be headed back to Europe in 2027, followed by their destination wedding in 2028.

Q: Why do you enjoy working with Europe Express?
A: My EE Specialist, Cindy Tyler. She makes the process easy, very responsive, & makes me look like a superstar.

Q: What advice would you give to fellow Travel Advisors looking to grow their Europe business?
A: I used to refer my Europe requests to other agents because I simply didn’t feel qualified enough to assist my clients. After working with my first Europe client alongside my EE Specialist, I quickly realized I didn’t have to know everything—I just needed to be willing to take that first step. My EE Specialist helps with the logistics, finding the right timeframes, selecting tours that fit my clients’ needs, recommending hotels in the best locations, and so much more.

At Europe Express, our team is dedicated to helping Travel Advisors impress their clients every step of the way. This month, we're spotlighting Nancy Leach, Europe Specialist, and learning more about how she supports Travel Advisors, her passion for travel, and the expertise she brings to our partners every day.

Q: What is your role at Europe Express, and what does a typical day look like for you?
A: I am a Europe Specialist. My role utilizes my destination expertise to create bespoke European travel experiences for our travel advisors and their clients. A typical day involves consulting with travel advisors to understand their clients' interests, budgets, and travel style. This includes researching destinations, recommending hotels and transportation options, and building custom itineraries.

Q: What do you enjoy most about working in the travel industry and at Europe Express?
A: I love talking about travel! I love sharing my own travel experiences and learning about new destinations. Europe Express provides myriad tools for growth and success within a convivial work environment.

Q: Can you share a recent moment where you helped an Advisor or went above and beyond for a booking?
A: I'd like to think I help my advisors with every interaction. Recently, I worked with an advisor who had built an FIT itinerary on her own but wanted assistance making some changes. During our conversation, I identified opportunities to improve the routing by eliminating unnecessary backtracking and recommended alternative hotel accommodations that were better aligned with her clients' preferences and budget. The advisor was thrilled with the revised itinerary – she appreciated the added value I brought to the revised itinerary and asked me to be her ‘point person’ for all future FITs.
