For our riders who identify as women, remember we’ve got our first event in our Int’l Women’s Day series on January 31st, which is a basic maintenance clinic out of Specialized Denver! All of the instructors will be she/her/they/them identifying in an effort to remove any perceived pressure our riders who identify as women feel in the presence of men.

In an effort to keep unused items out of the landfill and to share the love in our community of womxn who ride bikes, we are hosting a gear swap for our riders who identify as women! The gear swap will take place on February 5th from 2-4pm at Specialized Boulder. The goal is to have an opportunity to give your neglected gear new life, and leave with gear you will actually use.

This specific event is brought to you in partnership with Cycling Gals Network, a group of women located in and around the Colorado Front Range who share their love for riding with each other, organize local group rides that welcome all types of women, and work to build a more inclusive cycling community.

Free food and drink will be provided, and the link to RSVP is in our bio. This event is part of a collaborative series of events with the Ride or Die Collective leading up to International Women's Day dedicated to our riders who identify as women.

In a historically male dominated sport and industry, we feel that it is important to carve out designated space for our riders who identify as women. Since the popularization of the bicycle in the 1890’s, women have been defining their emancipation on two wheels. In seeking equity within cycling, we understand the importance of creating opportunities that are designed to better serve our riders who identify as women.

In collaboration with the Ride or Die Collective, who work to center, protect, and grow spaces for Women/Trans/Femme/Non-Binary riders in the cycling community, we are hosting a series of events leading up to International Women’s Day on March 8th dedicated to our riders who identify as women.

Our series will begin on January 31st with a basic bike maintenance clinic By Women, For Women. All of the instructors of this clinic will be women of Specialized and Ride or Die and will be hosted at Specialized Denver. As usual, the link to register will be in our bio!
