Many large companies close their fiscal year on September 30, and from a business standpoint, I understand why. November and December bring vacations, holidays, and plenty of scheduling disruptions that make a strong year-end push more challenging.

September tested my limits, but I’m proud of our team and grateful to have another successful month in the books.

Now it’s time to research bids, plan capacity, and mentally prepare for the peak-season madness. At Fortner Freight Solutions, preparation starts long before the first load moves. Happy Friday and Super Bowl weekend. I’m routing for the Patriots. Never thought I would say that. However, no one believed they would suceed at beginning of the year just like myself when I first started my journey. Heart, grind, consistency and dedication to doing the right things daily creates success. Whatever it takes, whenever! Still loading up trucks late this Friday afternoon for all my past doubters out there!! Have a great, fun and safe weekend.
