This past weekend we had the privilege of attending the 51st Lake Tahoe Concours d'Elegance We were fortunate that our local customer chose to showcase their boat “Carolyn”, a 33 ft, custom 2019 runabout.

This boat holds a special place in our hearts, as it was the last boat our brother Joe Turcotte was able to construct before his untimely passing in 2019. We were honored to be able to share our craftsmanship with our west coast antique boat loving community and we’re thankful for the hospitality shown towards us.

We wanted to take a moment to thank everyone involved in putting on such a memorable show. To our host, Obexer's Boat Company, for your hard-working staff who never skipped a beat on the docks, to the Lake Tahoe Yacht Club volunteers that showed up every day, the local The Antique and Classic Boat Society, Inc. Nor Cal / Lake Tahoe Chapter, and to anyone else we may have missed, THANK YOU! These shows are not possible without your planning and hard work.

Congratulations to all boats that received awards, and thank you to everyone who came by to say hello, give us a compliment, or simply just to admire the 29 Gar Wood boats that were in attendance! We hope to return in the future, thank you for having us.
