$1,346 guaranteed weekly pay (based on 2300 miles a week and 3 stops per week) - any miles above 2300 and any stops above 3 will be paid at the rates below in ADDITION to the $1,346 guaranteed pay.

$45 for the second stop on loads with multiple stops (avg 3 stops/week)

Start time varies depending on where the load is going and the appt time, but normally not before 0600
Must be willing to work on other accounts when load volume is slow
Job Description:

Deliver building materials on a flatbed trailer to building sites and customer warehouses.
Most loads are live loaded at the shipper
All deliveries live to unload by shippers customer average 1-2 hours (although there is some waiting time, drivers get a lot of miles as indicated above and the guaranteed pay is to ensure that the driver is paid fairly)
Some backhaul loads will be tarped upon reasonable request from the shipper

This position will back up any of the routes in case there is a driver on PTO, driver illness, customer surge, etc. If all of the routes are covered, they will be outsourced to other DCS accounts. The driver will need to be accepting of any work, whether it is Kaleel Brothers or a different account.

The driver will unload the trailer with a 2 wheel dolly or manual pallet jack, the trailers have ramps. Can typically take about 30 minutes per stop with several trips up and down the ramp

Drivers are responsible for scanning products off the truck
Deliveries go to stand-alone restaurants, shopping centers, malls - these areas are tight backing spaces

Drivers will have 4 - 10 stops per day

We support their internal manufacturing processes by delivering raw materials for production, we move raw materials and/or processed products between plants, and we also make end deliveries to their internal locations as well as their outside customers.

Deliveries are at 0800 most of the time and require driving to a location the day before to shut down nearby. If a driver prefers to drive at night, he can also do that. Drivers usually leave out 0300-0800 daily depending on delivery location and appt. A normal week will be 1 load a day for a total of 5 per week.
Some Saturday work is required as needed by the customer--if a driver works Saturday, they will dispatch around 1300 on Monday on their next load.
Job Description:
