Busy School Bus Transportation Company, located in Bridgewater New Jersey has a full time position opening for a Bus Mechanic to work in the mechanic shop.
Main Functions
• The ideal candidate must have 2 to 5 years experience.
• Candidate must be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on school buses, and vans.
• Candidate must be able to diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the driver or the mechanic shop foreman.
• Candidate must be able to test drive vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure soundness and to determine any other problems do not exist.
• Candidate must be willing to go on road calls. CDL training available
• Candidate must have knowledge of State regulated inspection procedure. Prepare vehicles for inspection; order parts etc when inspection date comes everything is ready.
• Candidate must be well trained and highly organized professional who takes pride in his work.

It’s that time again – the school year is here! 🏫 🚌

Be ready with bus stop safety tips!
📌 Arrive at least 5 minutes before the bus is scheduled to arrive.
📌 Stand at least 10 feet away from the curb.
📌 The bus stop is not a place to run or play.

Afternoon Reception Position Available: Pay is negotiable based on experience:

Answer and direct calls
Take care of the window
Stock the boxes with pre-trips, paysheets etc.
Stock the lounge with pre-trips, paysheets etc.
Make sure the lounge copier has toner and paper
Maintain a spreadsheet of pre-trip compliance
File pre-trips (clear the file after each bi-annual state inspection)
File service records
Open and lock up (if opening and closing)
Check operation of vehicle cameras
Assist with IT support
