Maybe Gods delay isn’t denial. What if He is just protecting the promise until the right time?Joseph was 17 when God gave him a dream.
But he was 30 when he stood before Pharaoh.
Thats thirteen years of betrayal and waiting where nothing looked like the promise God had given him.
He went from the pit to Potiphar’s house. From Potiphar’s house to prison. And from prison to the palace.
And somewhere in the middle of all that, Joseph could have decided God had forgotten him.
The prison wasn’t the end of Joseph’s story.
It was the 𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚙𝚞𝚛𝚙𝚘𝚜𝚎.
Is anyone else standing in your own waiting season right now, looking at a door that refuses to open, wondering what you did wrong.
Maybe you’ve prayed the same prayer a thousand times. Maybe you’ve even watched other people walk into the thing you’ve been believing God for.You didn’t miss your moment.
Can I remind you of something?
God is not bound by your timeline. And a season of silence does not mean He has stopped working.
Sometimes the door that would have been a blessing yesterday would become a burden today.
That’s such a wildly comforting concept to me.
Sometimes we won’t understand until we can look back at what God was doing.
I know what it feels like when life takes a turn you never planned for. And sometimes we won’t understand the road God asks us to travel.
The God who called me is still faithful. And even when I cannot see what He’s doing, I can trust who He is.
Joseph didn’t know that the pit was leading to the palace.
He just had to keep walking through the chapter he was in.Keep being faithful with what’s in your hands today.
You don’t have to force open a door God hasn’t opened.
And you don’t have to manufacture a promise God is perfectly capable of fulfilling.
Your responsibility is obedience. The timing belongs to God.

10/10/2026

Joseph was betrayed by the people who should have protected him.
His own brothers threw him into a pit then sold him into slavery.
The people who were supposed to love him became the reason he was hurting.
But they didn't get to write the ending of his story.
God did.
How many times have we been hurt by people we trusted or disappointed by people we loved?
I feel like when that happens we spend so much time focusing on what they did that we lose sight of what God is doing.
Here’s what I love about Joseph's story…
Joseph's brothers had the power to put him in a pit, but they didn't have the power to cancel God's purpose for his life.
And neither do the people who have hurt you.
I don't believe Joseph walked through all of that without heartbreak.
We don’t know every emotion he felt, but we know he was human.
Betrayal hurts.
So does rejection.
Being misunderstood by the people you love hurts even more.
Faith doesn't mean it doesn't hurt, just that the hurt isn’t the final say.
Joseph kept moving forward, and even when his circumstances changed, God didn't.
From the pit to slavery.
From slavery to prison.
From prison to the palace.
His circumstances kept changing, but God stayed faithful.
Joseph didn't pretend what his brothers did was okay. But he did keep his heart soft when he could have chosen to become hard.
You don't develop that kind of faith by simply showing up at church.
So if someone has hurt you, don't let their brokenness determine who you become.
Don’t give up on what God can still do.
You don't have to understand the pit to trust the One who can bring purpose from it.
And you don't have to make the people who hurt you the center of your story.
With Joseph, God saw a purpose that couldn’t be destroyed.
Don’t give people the pen to a story God is still writing.
They are not God.
And they do not get the final word.

10/08/2026

Ruth wasn't supposed to have the story she ended up with.
She was supposed to spend her life with her husband.
She was supposed to build a future with the man she loved.
She was supposed to follow the plan she imagined.
But life took a turn she never saw coming.
Her husband died.
Her future changed.
Her dreams were buried beneath grief.
And suddenly, Ruth found herself standing at a crossroads familiar to so many of us:
She could stay stuck in what she lost.
Or she could keep walking toward what God still had.
What amazes me most about Ruth isn't that she eventually met Boaz.
It's what she did before she ever knew Boaz existed.
She kept saying yes to God when she had no idea what the outcome would be.
She followed Naomi into an uncertain future.
She walked away from what was familiar.
She chose faith over fear.
She chose obedience over understanding.
And nowhere do we see Ruth demanding answers from God.
Nowhere do we see her refusing to move because life didn't turn out the way she planned.
She simply kept putting one faithful foot in front of the other.
And that's where so many of us get stuck.
We're willing to follow God as long as we know where He's taking us.
We're willing to trust Him as long as the path makes sense.
We're willing to move forward as long as we know we'll get another blessing on the other side.
But Ruth didn't know.
She didn't know Boaz was coming.
She didn't know redemption was coming.
She didn't know her greatest chapter was still ahead of her.
She didn't know she would become part of the lineage of Jesus Himself.
All she knew was that God was worthy of her next yes.
So she gave it.
And then another.
And then another.
Until one day she looked back and realized God had been writing a better story than she could have imagined.
Friend, maybe you've lost something you thought would be part of your life forever.
Maybe you're grieving a person, a dream, a future, or a version of life you expected to have.
Ruth's story reminds us that loss is not always the end of the story.
Sometimes it's the place where God begins writing a new chapter.
Not because what was lost didn't matter.
Not because the grief wasn't real.
But because God's ability to restore has always been greater than our ability to see what's coming next.
Ruth never stopped loving what she lost.
But she didn't allow her loss to keep her from receiving what God had prepared.
And maybe that's the lesson.
You can honor what was... while still saying yes to what God is doing now.
The people we lose are not replaced.
But God's goodness doesn't die with them. ❤️🔥
Don't spend so much time looking at the chapter that ended that you miss the one God is writing next.

10/08/2026

Today would have been our anniversary.
There was a time I didn't know how I would survive days like this.
The anniversaries.
The birthdays.
The milestones he was supposed to be here for.
The days that remind you just how much has changed.
Because grief has a way of measuring time differently.
It marks dates, moments, empty chairs.
And it whispers, "He should be here."
But today, something else is whispering too.
Gratitude.
Because while death may have changed our story, it didn't erase it.
I still see him in the faces of our children.
I hear him in the stories we tell.
I feel him in the values he left behind.
Sometimes I feel him in the wind on a quiet day when memories come back without warning.
And somehow...
I can smile.
Not because losing him didn't hurt.
Not because I don't still miss him.
Not because grief has disappeared.
But because I know what it feels like to be deeply loved.
And that's a gift many people spend their entire lives searching for.
I was loved then.
And by the grace of God, I am still loved now.
The love of a husband may no longer be beside me, but the love of God has never left me.
When my world fell apart, God held the pieces.
When I couldn't see a future, God carried me one step at a time.
When I thought my story was over, God kept writing.
This last year hasn't been easy.
But it has been proof.
Proof that God can sustain a heart that feels shattered.
Proof that joy and grief can live in the same soul.
Proof that healing doesn't mean forgetting.
And proof that love doesn't end when a life does.
So today, on what would have been our anniversary, I choose tears when they come.
I choose gratitude for the years we had.
I choose to honor the man he was by continuing the work we started.
And I choose to keep walking the path God has placed in front of me.
Because the greatest way I can honor his memory isn't by staying where grief found me.
It's by becoming the woman God is creating through it.
❤️✨
Death ended a chapter, but it didn't end the legacy. And it certainly didn't end the God who is still writing the story.

10/08/2026

When people ask how I've been lately, the honest answer is complicated.
God has been tearing down versions of me that I thought I needed to survive.
The version that thought she had to have all the answers.
The version that believed strength meant carrying everything alone.
The version that found her identity in plans, titles, relationships, accomplishments, or what life was supposed to look like.
One by one, He has been pruning me.
And if I'm honest?
Some of it has hurt.
A lot.
Because we love to pray for growth, but growth often feels like loss before it feels like gain.
We pray for purpose, and God starts removing distractions.
We pray for deeper faith, and God exposes the places where we've been depending on ourselves.
We pray for His will, and suddenly the things we've been holding onto so tightly begin slipping through our fingers.
Not because God is being cruel.
Because He loves us too much to let us build our identity on anything that can be taken away.
Jesus said every branch that bears fruit gets pruned so it can bear even more fruit.
Pruning isn't punishment.
It's preparation.
And sometimes the most holy work God does is the work nobody sees.
The hidden work in our hearts.
The work that happens in the dark before the harvest arrives.
Sometimes there are parts of me that have been standing in the way.
So if God has been stripping things away in your life, you may be standing in the middle of a transformation that heaven calls mercy.
The old you is making room for the person God created you to become.
And one day you'll thank Him for not letting you stay who you were.

❤️

Some of you are looking at the shattered pieces of your life and wondering how God could possibly use them.
The broken marriage.
The diagnosis.
The grief.
The failure.
The dream that never happened.
The future that disappeared.
You're staring at the pieces and thinking, "Surely God can't do anything with this."
But God has never required perfect pieces to build a beautiful story.
He only requires surrendered ones.
Just look at Scripture.
Moses had a criminal past.
Rahab had a reputation.
David had failures.
Peter had denial.
Paul had persecution.
None of them were the obvious choice.
Yet God used every broken piece for His glory.
And then there was the cross.
To everyone watching, it looked like defeat.
The disciples thought it was over.
Hell thought it had won.
The stone was rolled into place.
But what looked like the end was actually the beginning.
Three days later, the greatest victory in human history walked out of a borrowed tomb.
That's why we have to be careful about judging God's plan from the middle of the story.
Because God specializes in resurrection.
He takes what looks dead and breathes life into it.
He takes what looks ruined and redeems it.
He takes what looks broken and turns it into purpose.
So if all you can see today are shattered pieces, don't lose heart.
The God who turned a cross into salvation can certainly turn your brokenness into something beautiful.
The enemy sees pieces.
God sees a masterpiece.
And He's not finished yet.

God is in the business of building callings out of broken pieces.
Just ask Moses.
A murderer hiding in the wilderness became the man God used to lead a nation.
Ask Joseph.
The pit, the slavery, and the prison were not the end of his story. They were the preparation for it.
Ask David.
A shepherd boy overlooked by everyone else became a king after years of battles, caves, and waiting.
God has never been intimidated by brokenness.
He seems to do some of His best work there.
That's good news for people like me.
Because some of the most meaningful things God has done in my life were born from seasons I never would have chosen.
I would have skipped the grief.
Skipped the heartbreak.
Skipped the valleys.
Skipped every painful chapter if I had been given the choice.
But then I would have missed the woman God was creating in those places.
I would have missed the deeper faith.
The greater dependence.
The calling that was growing roots beneath the surface while everything above ground looked broken.
Some of you are looking at the shattered pieces of your life and wondering how God could possibly use them.
But God has never required perfect pieces to build a beautiful story.
He only requires surrendered ones.
The cross looked like a devastating ending.
Three days later, it became the greatest victory the world has ever known.
So don't judge God's plan by what it looks like in the middle.
The same God who rolls stones away still knows how to bring purpose out of pain, beauty out of ashes, and life out of what looked dead.
What feels like the end of your story may be the place where God is gathering the pieces for your calling.
🔥God doesn't just restore broken things.
He builds kingdoms with them.🔥

10/07/2026

The day my husband died, I thought the calling might have died too.
Not my faith.
Not God's goodness.
The calling.
Because when the future you planned disappears overnight, it's hard to imagine that God's plan is still alive.
I couldn't see how the dream God placed in my heart could possibly survive everything that had happened.
I wasn't looking for purpose then.
I was just trying to survive.
But every time I asked God what was next, He kept leading me back to rodeo in the valley.
And eventually I realized something:
The calling was never about rodeo.
Rodeo in the Valley is just the field God chose.
The calling is about Him.
It's about creating a place where people feel seen.
Where kids know they matter.
Where kindness still exists.
Where God's love shows up in ordinary moments.
That's why I don't panic when I can't see the whole plan anymore.
Because God never asked me to understand the entire story.
He only asked me to take the next step.
And maybe that's where some of you are today.
Standing in the middle of a chapter you never wanted.
Wondering if the dream is over.
Wondering if the loss was too great.
Wondering if God still has a purpose for your life.
He does.
Because God is in the business of building callings out of broken pieces.
The enemy sees an ending.
God sees a beginning.
And sometimes the graveyard of the life you thought you would have becomes the birthplace of the life God knew you needed.
The calling didn't die.
It survived the fire.
And now it's burning brighter than ever.
