You’re looking at a different kind of freight run.

Long before modern trailers and load boards, this is how oversized steel moved through Northeast Ohio — carefully, deliberately, and with a whole lot of patience.

That trailer wasn’t built for speed.
It was built for responsibility.

Out of the mills surrounding Youngstown, loads like this carried the pieces of something bigger… structures, systems, and industries that were still taking shape across America.

Every turn had to be planned.
Every mile had to be earned.

No shortcuts. No second chances.

And behind the wheel?
A driver who understood that what he was hauling wasn’t just cargo.

That is the mindset built this company.

1975. Brookfield, Ohio. Right in the heart of steel country.

Just miles from Youngstown’s mills, where molten steel was being poured day and night, helping build bridges, skyscrapers, and the backbone of America itself.

Trucks like this weren’t just moving freight… they were moving steel out of the Valley, hauling the materials that powered an entire region.

There were no GPS systems.
No digital tracking.
Just paper logs, CB radios, and drivers who knew these roads by heart.

It was a time of hard work, rising fuel costs, and an industry that demanded resilience — especially here in Northeast Ohio, where so many families depended on steel and transportation.

And through it all, one thing remained steady:

Faith.
Family.
And a commitment to keep moving forward.

Built in the valley, still moving what built America. 🇺🇸

We would like to thank and congratulate all the drivers who worked all Q1 and Q2 while maintaining a 100 Samsara Safety Score!

Maintaining a 100 score for an entire quarter is a safety achievement that deserves recognition for a job well done. Thank you for doing your part in keeping the company in good standing with our insurance carrier (yes, your Samsara scores matter!).

In appreciation, each of these drivers will receive a $25.00 Pilot gift card for each quarter they qualified.

Great Job and keep up the good work!

Before interstates. Before GPS. Before logistics software.

In the 1930s, trucking was still finding its place in America.

Railroads dominated freight. Steel mills powered cities. And the country was in the middle of the Great Depression — industries were struggling, but transportation kept everything moving.

That’s where trucks like this came in.

Built for endurance, not comfort.
Driven by grit, not convenience — and in this photo specifically — driven by our Great Grandpa Strimbu, haulin’ his twin boys, Nick & Tom Strimbu.

These trucks carried steel, supplies, and the backbone of American industry across roads that were barely roads at all.

This isn’t just a truck.
It’s a reminder of where we started.

Nearly 100 years later, we’re still hauling across America. 🇺🇸
