For those with indoor reduced pressure backflow devices (RPs)... The backflow is doing exactly what it's designed to do, protect drinking water. That's why it's important to have it property installed, or it can quickly destroy a business.
In this case, the backflow should be installed at least 12" above the ground & have discharge supply line adequate to carry the water for this situation.
