Another Baldwin, a baby grand. We have moved this one a few times, it holds a a lot of sentimental value and was recently passed from a grandmother down to a granddaughter, so they were happy to keep it within their family.

🛁🛁 This hot tub weighed in a tad over 1,000lbs. It was very water logged and rotted, with water inside of it still, adding to the weight.

🎹🎹 And a massive upright piano at a Castine mansion that went during a two day estate sale. Someone is planning to use the wood from the piano so it wasn’t a total loss.

Big 60 inch Blue Star range picked up in Falmouth and delivered all the way to Deer Isle. These are heavy and the pathway through the house needs to be totally protected.

For the delivery in Deer Isle the doorways were very tight so we had to remove parts of the range and stand it upright and maneuver it through that way.

This couch needed to be pulled up onto the roof and then put through a second floor window. The customer ordered it and a delivery company attempted to maneuver it up the stairs, but they were unsuccessful.

We also tried to get the couch up the stairs ourselves with no luck, so we went to Plan B….

✅Remove the large window
✅ Fully protect the couch, the window sill, and the roof from damage
✅ Get on the roof and pull the couch up
✅ Feed it in through window

The last tub pictured was very rotted and water logged and needed to be disposed of. It weighed in at the dump a little over 1,100 pounds because of this

A handful of different Steinway pianos 🎹🎹🎹 over the last week or so.

This first Steinway grand piano pictured we have moved before. It was bought in Tokyo and has been moved all over the world. For any pianist/musicians that would appreciate it:

🎹Matthew Whittaker played on this very piano when he was 10 years old (he opened for Stevie Wonder at this age)

Tricky Speed Queen washer and dryer delivery and installation, plus removals of the old. We worked with our long time former employer, Brown Appliance, on this one, as this went far beyond what a standard and safe delivery would call for.

A spiral staircase with a newly installed chair lift on it. The units needed to be lifted over the chair lift rail while moving them. The customer pointed out there were delicate tracks for the gears that could be damaged. We half hoisted it/half muscled it and got it done.

IGMA - International Guild of Miniature Artisans. Maine Maritime Academy in Castine has hosted this event for forty plus years. We came in to help get all the totes and tools in the classrooms and ready for the instructors.

It was nice to assist in the elaborate set up for this event and another successful project at MMA!

👊Hot tub removals in Carmel and Orland. Both of these were inside finished basement areas.

👊One of them had a very low ceiling and had to be squeezed through tight door ways. We had to remove parts of the ceiling to tip it between the rafters.

Where the tub had been in the home for 30 years and been built around, it was expected to be tight.
