Immediate Opening for an Intermodal Dispatcher in our Buffalo, NY Terminal.
Job Summary
· Develop a strong relationship with drivers and Owner Operators
· Assist in scheduling drivers and organizing the daily dispatch of all equipment
· Work cooperatively with customer service/sales to provide solutions for clients’ needs and resolve issues
· Manage customer and driver expectations to align with operational capabilities
· Respond to customers efficiently, thoroughly, and professionally
· Enters data into various systems accurately and efficiently
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications
· Transportation/Trucking industry experience preferred. Knowledge of Intermodal Trucking preferred
· Knowledge of computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Office Suites.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and demands.
· Ability to follow instructions and work with minimum supervision.
· Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette capabilities
· Organizational & Time Management skills required.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to present and maintain a positive corporate image in a fast paced environment
Job Type: Full-time Monday to Friday
Pay: From $900-$1000 per week
