This guest brought his boat in because he was having issues with his recently “rebuilt“ carburetors. We found a variety of issues but we were able to resolve them and assemble the carburetors back to factory spec. We also rebuilt the trim cylinder because it was leaking fluid on every use. This boat came in with multiple holes and stress cracks in the pontoons causing leaks and structural concerns. We cut out the damaged sections, cleaned everything down to solid material, and welded the pontoons back up to restore strength and integrity.

After pressure testing the repairs, the pontoons are sealed tight and ready to get back on the water where they belong.

Quality welding and proper repairs make all the difference when it comes to safety and longevity on the water.

This 1988 center console came in with a 90hp Johnson that just wouldn’t fire up. We diagnosed a variety of issues which lead to a complete ignition system overhaul and carb rebuild. We also deleted the VRO system and modified a pulse pump to work with the new fueling system. After setting the maximum advance timing this little Johnson has a new lease on life.

Starting the morning off with a lower unit refresh! This unit was removed and sanded to bare metal to get rid of oxidation and corrosion. We corrected all the damage and sprayed it with Mercury/Mercruiser Phantom black. Now this lower unit has a new lease on life.

We found water in the lower unit due to fishing line being sucked into the shaft seal, as a result water intrusion began and gear l**e started its exodus.
