With this severe wind we’ve had today. You really should come down and take your Biminis down or at least come down and check your boat. We’ve already had one break loose from its mooring! Thank you to the guys at Shoquoquon Boat club for tuning out to secure the boat!!!

We had just had 2 people do an upgrade on their boat slips at Bluff Harbor Marina. So we have a boat slip for $850 B dock uncovered for the year and another on for $900 F dock uncovered for the year available. First come first-First serve ! Call 319-753-2590!

PSA! In the main channel there is a mostly submerged red channel marker just north of the marina and short of Big Rush Island . Stay on Iowa side through that area!!!!

Ragbrai This Saturday! The marina will be open! To get to us by land please use Court St to cross Main St and then the alley behind Cure Solutions to High St. You may come before 10 am or after 2 pm! No crossing will be allowed between 10 am and 2 pm. If you are trailering your boat in please drop off by Friday and contact Jon Billups a courtesy slip. 319-759-1831. Bluff Harbor will be open regular hours Saturday and 11-4 Sunday

FYI!

Just as lights play a significant role in understanding what other boats are doing, so do sounds. Understanding what you hear is another step towards being a "complete mariner". These rules are meant for inland US waters.
