UVM Bikes UVM Bikes! is a student run bicycle co-operative at the University of Vermont. We are dedicated to i is located in the Booth House at 86 S Williams St.

We provide the UVM community with the resources, tools, knowledge, parts, and shop space needed to repair their own bikes. The heart of our organization is the dedicated team of student volunteer-mechanics, who take time out of their busy days to give back to the community and increase the accessibility of cycling at UVM. The greater goal of our organization is to make riding a bike an equitable a

nd accessible activity for the entire UVM community. We work to achieve this goal by offering free access to shop space and tools, free repair services, low-cost parts, and low-cost semester and year-long rental bikes. We work *with* community members, increasing their ability and confidence by showing them how to fix their bikes instead of simply doing it for them — when you come in for a repair, you won't just leave with a bike that is fixed, but the knowledge of *how* that bike was fixed, too.

Summer rentals are here! Starting May 5th and 7th from 12-3pm, we will be doing summer rentals at the co-op. Renters must be UVM affiliates (students, faculty, staff etc.). We will also be having our summer open hours starting May 12th. Open hours will be Tuesdays from 5-8pm. 🚲🚲

Come build your very own bike with us on Tuesday from 6-9pm! You’ll leave this workshop with a bike and some other goodies. The cost for this workshop is $15, and includes the bike and basic parts as well as a lock, helmet, and lights. *PLEASE DM THIS ACCOUNT WITH YOUR NAME AND HEIGHT (to ensure the right size bike) IF INTERESTED* While we have limited spots for this workshop, there are also tons of other awesome and cool ways to get involved with UVM bikes!
