For weeks, even months, now we have been trying to decide how to have a pumpkin patch this fall, and even whether or not to open. Several Kansas pumpkin patches have decided to not open because of all the regulations and wanting their guests to be safe and not exposed. We just held our Sunflower Days weekends and all went extremely well! Thank you all who ventured out for giving us a reason to not close.....we want to share the fall season with everyone. So, we have decided that in the best interest of everyone from our employees, to our guests and for our sanity, we are going to be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so that we have the time required to do a thorough job of sanitizing and disinfecting our equipment, rides, etc. from our busier weekends. Since we've always prided ourselves in that we were open 7 days a week throughout our season, this has been a difficult decision! BUT it is a necessity to keep everyone safe. Our hours will be Wednesday through Sundays from 10am - 7pm and opening from 1pm - 7pm on Sundays. Our admission on Wed, Thurs and Fri will be $10 per person and this includes sales tax; our admission on Saturday and Sunday is $15 which also includes sales tax. (Trying to avoid the lack of change also). Tokens will be sold for the extra pay to plays at $1 each and if you buy 5, you get one free. Also this year, we will not longer have the zipline functioning because of the lack of social distance while harnassing our guests by our employees. These are our plans for 2020 and we are doing the best we know how to keep everyone safe. REMEMBER: face masks are required when in close proximity to our employees or in our buildings. HERE'S TO PUMPKINFEST 2020 in the best way we know how! π
