🚌 Minnesota Valley Transit Authority is offering free shuttle rides this weekend from the Rosemount High School parking lot.

🕠 First pick-up: 5:30 p.m.
📍 Pick-up/drop-off location: MVTA shuttle building across from City Hall
🕘 Last pick-up from the trail: 9 p.m.

Transit benefits all of us, even those who don’t ride. It can help your local barista get to work, your child’s teacher get to school, and employers connect with more potential employees while supporting the local economy.

Through September, MVTA’s year-to-date ridership is up 7.6%. Local weekday ridership is up 5.9%, express ridership is up 9.9%, and weekend ridership is up 4.6%.

Behind those numbers are people getting to work, making appointments, and connecting with their communities. Thank you to everyone who makes MVTA part of their day. 💚🚌

MVTA is considering replacing Routes 497 and 499 in Shakopee with the new Route 429, featuring A and B patterns designed to better serve local trips. The proposed changes would take effect in December 2026.
