ONE MILLION. TWO MILLION. A WHOLE LOT OF MILES.

And then there are Wayne and Rosa, who have done it TWICE.

We’ll officially recognize these drivers during Employee Appreciation Week, but an accomplishment this big deserves to be celebrated everywhere.

Congratulations to all seven of our Million Mile Drivers — we’re proud of every mile that brought you here!

Introducing our 2026 Gold Standard Leadership Award recipients!

That's what the Gold Standard Leadership Award represents.

Please join us in congratulating our 2026 Gold Standard Leadership Award recipients:

Bobbie Watson

Thank you for the standard you set, the people you invest in, and the example you provide through the way you lead.

CELEBRATING OUR 2026 GOLD STANDARD EMPLOYEES!

Some of the biggest contributions to a company happen quietly, every single day.

They're made by the person who steps up without being asked. The teammate who can always be counted on. The problem-solver who finds a way forward. The employee who takes pride in doing things the right way and makes the people around them better in the process.

Those are the people our Gold Standard Employee Award was created to recognize.

We are incredibly proud to introduce our 2026 Gold Standard Employees:

Administration:
Amanda Cottengim
Chelsie Polston
Morgan Manning
Sharon Long
Susan Hamilton
Trisha Senf
Rafaela Botello

Dispatch:
Perry Dixon
Cesar Cruz Munoz
Samantha Hopson
Juan Montiel
Holly Yarber
Mary Brown

Maintenance:
Gary Harrison
Edgar Hernandez
Pablo Moser
Leo Sanchez
Adrian Marquez
Danielle Chapman
Julian Herrington
Louis Cuevas
Clyde Patterson
Terry Carter
Damian Ponce

Selected from across our Maintenance, Administrative, and Operations teams, these employees have distinguished themselves through their integrity, service, initiative, growth, and the impact they make on the people and teams around them.

Their contributions may look different from one role to another, but the result is the same: our company is better because of the work they do and the way they do it.

We'll formally celebrate each recipient during Employee Appreciation Week, but today we're proud to put their names in the spotlight.

To our 2026 Gold Standard Employees, thank you for showing us what it looks like to make a difference right where you are.

Congratulations on this well-earned recognition!

MEET OUR 2026 GOLD STANDARD DRIVERS!

Today, we're proud to recognize a group of drivers who represent the very best of Western Dairy Transport.

The Gold Standard Driver Award isn't simply recognition for doing a good job. It's an honor earned through consistent performance, a commitment to safety, professionalism, reliability, and the way a driver represents WDT every day.

Our drivers are trusted with much more than a truck. They carry responsibility for our customers, the safety of those around them, and the reputation we've built as a company.

Our 2026 Gold Standard Drivers have proven they understand that responsibility and rise to it day after day. These drivers have distinguished themselves among their peers and earned a place among an exceptional group within our fleet. They are people we can depend on, professionals who take pride in doing things the right way, and examples of what the Gold Standard is meant to represent.

Each recipient will be formally honored at their terminal during Employee Appreciation Week, but an achievement like this deserves celebration now!

To our 2026 recipients: thank you for the example you set and the standard you uphold every time you get behind the wheel. You've earned the Gold Standard. Congratulations!

August 2026 Employee Spotlight
Christopher Thomas
Purchasing & Asset Management, Cabool, MO

Communication and strong relationships are at the heart of Christopher Thomas’ role in Purchasing & Asset Management. Whether coordinating changes to products and services or helping solve issues across the operation, Chris works to make sure people have the information they need to make the right decisions.

One of the areas where Chris has seen the most growth is in the relationships he’s built across the company. Those connections help him understand challenges outside his own department, gather feedback, and work with others to find solutions.

Chris wanted to personally recognize Damon Dotson, Dirk Shea, Norman Wood, Shawn Watson, Casey Dixon, Braden Cox, Jeremiah Klemish, Katrina Klemish, Heather Coen, Jimi Carman, Heath Chick, Jackie Bledsoe, Lisa Chronister, Debbie Carter, Cathy Bauer, Morgan Manning, Crystal Dixon, Bobbie Watson, Kent Bollman, Brandon Ray, Justin Sigman, Mindy Brewer, Jenny Hayes, Chelsie Polston, Tammy Carman, Gary Harrison, Matt Burkhart, Felipe Ponce, Damian Ponce, Sebastian Ronquillo, Paula Hassard, Melvin Schenk, Kevin Hoff, Robbie McKinney, Danny Flores, Randall Cooper, Gary Stephens, Diann Harrell, Eric Rowley, Kody Krofutt, and Fuzzy Harrell, along with the many others who have supported him.

“When you have teammates that share the same vision to be better individually and then as a team, there is nothing that can stop you from success.”

His supervisor, Norman Wood, says Chris consistently goes beyond his role, whether stepping into the tire barn, completing work orders for shops without parts associates, or helping wherever he’s needed. His dependability, positive attitude, and willingness to step up help operations run smoothly and encourage teamwork along the way.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and golfing with his kids.

Thank you, Chris, for your teamwork, communication, positive attitude, and commitment to helping the people around you succeed!

August 2026 Employee Spotlight
Candelario Martinez
Haul Off Driver, Dallas, TX

Behind the wheel of a semi, staying calm and thinking ahead can make all the difference. For Candelario Martinez, those habits have become an important part of how he approaches every day on the road. “There’s a lot of responsibility being behind the wheel of a semi truck,” Candelario shared. “I’ve learned to stay focused and aware of my surroundings, but most of all, to stay patient and calm in traffic and when dealing with all sorts of drivers.”

That patience carries into the way Candelario handles the unexpected, too. Planning ahead, staying aware, and keeping a level head allow him to adjust when circumstances change while keeping safety at the center of his decisions. “Planning ahead and just being patient helps keep things safe and helps me handle whatever may come my way,” he said.

His supervisor, Eric Rowley, sees that same dependability in the way Candelario supports the entire operation. He communicates consistently with dispatch about delays, breakdowns, or other issues and is quick to lend a hand when another driver needs help. Eric shared that Candelario “consistently demonstrates dedication, professionalism, and a strong work ethic,” adding that his willingness to go above and beyond makes him a valued part of the team.

Just as important is the attitude Candelario brings with him. His upbeat personality, positive conversations, and willingness to work alongside others help create the kind of team environment where people know they can count on one another.

Away from work, Candelario enjoys spending time at his family’s ranch, helping out wherever needed and fitting in some fishing when he gets the chance.

For Eric, Candelario’s value comes down to the way he consistently shows up for others: “Candelario is an exceptionally dependable team member who consistently goes above and beyond to support his colleagues, contribute to the team’s success, and exemplify our core values of dedication, reliability, and teamwork.”

Thank you, Candelario, for the patience, professionalism, and team-first attitude you bring to every mile and every shift.

Dodge City, Kansas, you sure know how to show up!

We had such a great time being part of Touch-A-Truck this weekend. From future truck drivers checking out the cab to families stopping by to say hello, it was a fun day filled with great conversations and even bigger smiles.

Thank you to everyone who came by our truck and spent a few minutes with our team. We always enjoy opportunities like this to connect with the communities we serve and give people a closer look at the equipment and industry that help deliver dairy products across the country every day.

A special thank you to the organizers and volunteers who made the event possible. We appreciate all the work that goes into creating events that bring the community together.

We had a great time and hope to see everyone again next year! 🚛💙
