A New Step Forward with Mrs. D
This is a new step forward for Mrs. D as she continues working to verify income and support the community. We recognize that the city and county have far more resources than a small family with humble beginnings, yet Mrs. D has taken on the responsibility of helping those in need.
At the same time, we believe it is important to place responsibility back on taxpayers and the local systems that are meant to provide proper services. People who pay taxes deserve better support, stronger programs, and reliable access to essential resources.
Mrs. D and her family are doing their best to serve the community while carrying many responsibilities. Because of this, we want to make sure people know where to turn for assistance.
If you are in need of transportation, please be aware that Mrs. D is no longer providing transportation services. However, she remains committed to helping guide people toward available resources. Those who need transportation within Maryland should contact Transportation of Leonardtown for information and assistance.
Mrs. D believes that God has given her a greater responsibility—to help people find safe and affordable housing without unnecessary complications or barriers.
Her focus is on people who are genuinely in need. Mrs. D does not discriminate because there is no time for discrimination when someone needs a safe place to live. The goal is simple: to help individuals and families secure housing based on verified income without excessive regulations preventing them from receiving the help they need.
Residents of St. Mary’s County pay taxes and deserve proper representation and dependable services from their city, county, and state government. Community members are encouraged to contact their elected representatives and public agencies and ask for the transportation, housing, and essential services they need.
Mrs. D is committed to continuing this work with honesty, compassion, and faith. She will continue doing what she can with the resources available while encouraging larger systems to step forward and fulfill their responsibilities to the community.
