You could spend hours researching hotels, comparing options, reading reviews, figuring out transportation, and trying to make all the pieces fit together.

Or you can tell me what you want, and Iā€™ll build it for you.

Iā€™m not just booking a hotel or finding the cheapest flight. Iā€™m looking at the destination, the logistics, the experiences, and your travel style to create a plan that actually fits you.

Are you a Beatles fan? You can stay at a hotel in Seattle, Washington, that is famous for accommodating the Beatles and many other rock bands of the 60s and 70s. We chose to stay at the Edgewater hotel because of its close proximity to all of the tourist attractions without being in the middle of downtown. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere by the water while being close enough to walk to all of the major attractions. Is first class worth it? It is when it covers your breakfast, drinks, and two checked bags up to 70 pounds each. You should know that Kristi has a serious problem: she believes vacations should be memorable, well-planned, and completely customized to the people taking them. She will ask approximately 47 questions about what you like, what you donā€™t like, what makes you excited, and what would make you say, ā€œOh my gosh, I didnā€™t even know we could DO that!ā€ And then she will disappear down a travel-planning rabbit hole until she has found the perfect answer. She also has an alarming ability to turn ā€œWeā€™re thinking about going somewhere somedayā€ into an actual itinerary.

She is also a former teacher, which means you are going to learn something whether you intended to or not. šŸ˜‚ She will explain why something works, give you options, tell you what she would do, and probably have a backup plan for the backup plan. She notices details other people miss, loves a good story, takes entirely too many vacation pictures because she refuses to believe you can ā€œjust live in the momentā€ without documenting it, and gets genuinely excited when she discovers something she knows you are going to love.

And perhaps the biggest warning of all: Kristi actually cares. She doesnā€™t want to just sell you a vacation. She wants to know what youā€™re celebrating, who youā€™re traveling with, what youā€™ve dreamed about doing, and what will make you come home saying, ā€œThat was exactly what we needed.ā€ So if you become one of her clients, donā€™t be surprised if your travel advisor starts feeling suspiciously like a friend who happens to know an unreasonable amount about Alaska, Disney, cruises, Hawaii, Europe, and where you should probably eat dinner. šŸ˜
