IMMEDIATE JOB OPENING – OTR REGIONAL REFRIGERATED DRIVER

Sexton Farms has immediate openings for an OTR Regional Refrigerated Driver. We have just been awarded additional lanes and need to grow our fleet. Our home terminal is located in Camilla, Georgia. We have a fleet of 60 tractors and specialize in the transport of refrigerated foods. We primarily run the Southeast region with heavy concentrations in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Freight is 100% no touch and mainly drop & hook. We were just recognized as a 2020 TYSON Carrier of the Year. All 34-hour restarts are done at home. Our entire OTR fleet is late model (2016-2021) Freightliner Cascadia tractors equipped with sleepers. Most are equipped with automatic transmissions, APUs, inverters, refrigerators, microwaves, televisions and SiriusXM Satellite radio. Spare trucks are available for drivers when tractors need servicing so you don’t miss any miles. Our new 2022 Freightliners will begin delivering in January.

General requirements: Class A CDL; minimum of 25 years old; 2 years verifiable OTR experience; Clean MVR, PSP, accident record, negative pre-employment drug test, and stable work history; previous refrigerated hauling experience is preferred but not required; strong work ethic, dependability, professionalism and safe driving are essential for success in this position. This position will require a combination of day and night time driving and some weekend work. Average 2,200-2,800 miles per week.

This is a great employment opportunity with very competitive pay (starting mileage pay at $.45 to $.48 CPM depending on experience with top pay at $.50 CPM), benefits including health, vision and dental insurance and 401k with employer matching contribution, holiday and sick pay after 90 days, and can earn up to 2 weeks vacation pay during employment. Also eligible for fuel, safety, loyalty, referral and performance bonuses. Drivers have been paid over $130,000 in additional bonuses so far in 2020. We drive for EXCELLENCE in the workplace and reward it.

If you have over 5 years of experience, this position qualifies for a $5,000 signing bonus paid out over the first 24 months of employment for new hires if you start orientation by December 31, 2020.

If you have between 2 & 5 years of experience, this position qualifies for a $2,500 signing bonus paid out over the 1st year of employment for new hires if you start orientation by December 31, 2020.
