Hello Dear Friends!
Over the past few months, I (Alexander Volkov) have been in touch with a young man named Phillimon from Hope the Children.
He’s in his early 20s, grew up through real hardship, and chose to do something meaningful with his life. Together with friends and people in his community, he started a small orphanage. Today, they are caring for 20 children — providing food, basic education, and support where there was none.
What struck me most is that he’s not waiting for perfect conditions or big funding. He’s just doing what he can, every day, with what he has.
Recently, one of the children they support — Agatha — was diagnosed with an aggressive tumor. She urgently needs surgery. They’ve managed to raise some funds to begin treatment, but in Uganda even “free” healthcare still requires money for anything serious.
Right now, they are trying to raise $4,000 to cover her surgery.
I’ve personally spoken with Phillimon many times — on calls and video — to understand his work and make sure this is real. We’ve also talked about how I can support him longer term with fundraising and building more awareness.
I’m sharing this here in case anyone feels moved to help. Even a small contribution can make a real difference.
