We would like to recognize Porky Pitcher as our longest tenured driver today as he starts his 24th year of service with us. We would like to wish Charlie Krause "Mr. Happy" a happy belated birthday on June 30th. Charlie has been with us for the better part of 10 years with a few years away in between and we appreciate his hard work and dedication. Then we would like to wish Corey Houseman a happy 7 year Anniversary with our company. A respectful young man came through the door all those years ago & took a chance on us and we are certainly glad he did. Hardworking, dedicated and great family man. Last, but certainly not least, happy birthday to our longest tenured employee and one of the finest men you will ever meet, Merritt Russell. Not only was it his birthday last week but 31 years ago this week he walked through my office door looking for a job. As it turns out it was one of the best decisions of my life. Merritt worked his way through the ranks side by side with me from the bottom up to become an integral part of our operation. Through the good and the bad, we made it through alot together. I can honestly say, he taught me way more than I could ever teach him not only in business but as a man. Can't thank him enough for still being there for everyone of us here at Ron Allen everyday when he could be retired and have no headaches.

We would like to congratulate Jeremy Hurteau and Ole Blue on an accomplishment that I personally have never seen before and has to be a rarity in the industry. Jeremy, who has been with us for nearly 11 years, and Ole Blue have just turned 1,000,000 miles together. Jeremy picked the color he wanted 8 years ago and has driven Ole Blue every since then. Passing up brand new trucks along the way. 1st pic is when Ole Blue was new in 2018 and the 2nd pic with Jeremy and I in it was just the other day. If you do the math on that it comes out to an average of 125,000 miles per year. We can't thank Jeremy and Ole Blue enough for all the years of dependable and reliable service. We would like to take Ole Blue out of service and give her a face-lift after a million miles but Jeremy told me he likes Ole Blue just the way it is now.
