Our favorite world traveler is representing the Town Docks all the way over in New Zealand! 🇳🇿⚓️

We’re a little bummed that John and Susan didn’t pack us in their suitcases, but seeing our gear traveling around the world is a pretty great alternative ! 😂

⭐️100 FIVE-STAR REVIEWS! ⭐️
Guess who helped make that happen? Yep, THIS CREW! I know I talk about our crew a lot, but they’re worth talking about! So yesterday we celebrated with some grilling, laughs, and a little friendly competition at Cape Charles Mini Golf! ⛳️
Now, in the interest of full disclosure… not every review was five stars. We had a few 4s and even a couple of 3s, and yep, we read and discuss every single one.
Some things are just out of our control… like the noise, the dust, and Mother Nature doing her thing in the Bay. 🌊 (And sadly, we don’t see a swimming pool making the marina master plan anytime soon.)
But what is in our control is OUR GAME. And this crew keeps showing up, working hard, and going above and beyond to make your marina experience the BEST it can be.

Thank you to the Public Works and Finance Teams for helping me thank these guys! Thanks to both teams,
We grilled. We putted. We laughed. We celebrated. We had a blast. 🏌️‍♂️🍔🍻
Cheers to the BEST Dock Crew ever! ❤️⚓️ You guys earned this one!

Now we’re back to braving the wind, bundling up, and making sure your boats are safe and sound!

This is the first year in a long time that Summer decided to hang on until the very last second, and apparently, Fall was not happy about it! 😂 We went from tank tops and A/C this morning to hoodies and heaters this afternoon. We are not okay. 🤣
But don’t give up on boating season just yet! This will be out of here before we know it, and you’ll be back in flip-flops in Cape Charles in no time!
In the meantime, keep an eye on your boats (and on us 😉). We appreciate you more than you know!

What a way to wrap up the 2026 concert season! We’re pretty sure that that everyone in Cape Charles will be a Buffett fan this evening.
Grab your chairs and your favorite people and head to Central Park at 6pm for a little tailgating before the music starts at 7pm. 🦜🌴🍋‍🟩🧂

🍔 So grab a 'cheeseburger in paradise' from one of the local vendors serving at the concert from 6pm on

🧂Track down that 'lost shaker of salt' and 'waste away' in Central Park with one of CCP's famous margaritas! (Proceeds help keep the music free summer after summer ❤️🎶)

Is it hoodie season yet?
Well…that depends on who you ask. 😂
Some of us were reaching for a hoodie the second the calendar hit September. Others are still wondering why we’re talking about hoodies when the sun is blazing and it’s 80+ degrees outside. We see you. 😉
But as the sun goes down, the temps start to dip, and the evening gets a little more “hoodie-ish,” we think it’s time to at least consider it.
And honestly, this is the BEST time of year in Cape Charles! Warm days, cool-ish nights, beautiful sunsets, and a good excuse to wear your favorite Town Docks hoodie…when you’re ready.
Come grab yours tomorrow (mention this post for 20% off 😳) and head to the park at 7:00pm for the LAST concert of the year. Hoodie or no hoodie, it’s going to be a good one!

Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸
This crew deserves a HUGE shoutout for all their hard work this season! We’re so grateful for each and every one of them. They’ll still be around, but for some, it’s time for full-time books and part-time boats. 📚⛵️
It’s hard to believe summer is coming to an end. What an amazing season it’s been! A big thank-you to our incredible crew and to all of YOU for spending your summer with us. We truly appreciate you more than you know!
And here’s the good news… boating season isn’t over! Fall is one of the BEST times of year to visit Cape Charles by boat. Come see us and enjoy everything the season has to offer!
