There’s something special about hauling a classic piece of equipment that’s been around for decades and helping get it safely to its next chapter.

Yesterday’s haul took me from Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to Cabot, Arkansas. Another smooth pickup, safe trip, and successful delivery. Wishing the new owner many years of service from this old Ford 535.

If you know me, you know I’m extremely particular about my truck. It’s not just my livelihood—it’s a reflection of me and my business. I notice the little things, and I don’t hand out compliments unless they’re earned.

After hundreds of miles on the road, the front of my truck, mirrors, and windshield were absolutely covered with bugs. I honestly didn’t think they were going to get them all off.

The team at DBL D’s Automatic Big Rig Wash didn’t just run it through the wash. They pre-treated the entire front of the truck, mirrors, and windshield, then took the time to scrub everything by hand with brushes before the wash even started.

The end result? My truck came out looking incredible. Their attention to detail and the pride they take in their work really stood out.

480 miles in the books.

Hauled this beautiful Grand Lodge yesterday from Dallas, TX, to Brownsville, TN. It was a long day on the road, but the delivery was completed safely and on time.

Even with the load, the F-350 averaged 8.3 MPG over the trip.

Every load is another opportunity to represent Haulin’ Assets with professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to safety.

One Year Ago Today…

On June 23, 2025, Haulin’ Assets LLC officially received its operating authority. One month later, on July 22, 2025, I picked up my very first load.

It was a bush hog that paid around $300 to travel about 75 miles. It wasn’t the biggest load or the biggest paycheck, but it marked the true beginning of this journey.

Over the past year, that first load has grown into:

* 100,000+ miles traveled
* 105 loads successfully delivered
* 32 customers served
* Multiple Level I inspections completed
* Countless hours spent building a business founded on safety, reliability, and hard work

Looking back through these photos reminds me how far this company has come in just one year. Every load, every mile, and every customer has played a part in this journey.

To every customer, broker, friend, family member, and supporter who believed in Haulin’ Assets LLC from the beginning—thank you. Your trust has meant everything.

Year one built the foundation. Year two is about continuing to grow, strengthening relationships, and delivering the same dependable service that brought us here.

Here’s to the road ahead.
