The Bucket List Planner

The Bucket List Planner Hello! I am so glad you are here. I am a midwest mom who works as a full time physical medicine and rehabilitation physician in Wisconsin.

I create custom travel plans for busy people so they can take their dream vacations without worrying about the detail.

- specializing in honeymoons and family travel Travel is one of my passions, and my husband has always joked that I like planning trips more than I actually like going on them. While I don’t quite believe him, I do LOVE researching new destinations, and putting together custom

travel plans for people looking to cross some things off of their travel bucket list. I started traveling when I was in college and took a 6 week trip to Paris, Lisbon, and Sao Tome and Principe in Africa. This trip really helped ignite a desire for really diving deep into different cultures and experiencing the world from other perspectives. Since that first trip in 2011, I have been to a total of 15 countries, and 23 states within the United States. I have traveled on a true shoe string budget through Africa and Croatia, as well as some more luxurious trips, and everything in between. Because of this, I have personal experience working with any budget. Currently most of my travel is as a family, with a toddler. However I have done solo travel, best friend travel, friend group travel, and couples with my now husband. I love being able to share my passion for travel with others. I focus on creating a personalized travel plan based on your travel style, budget, time frame, and must do experiences. I select special things for each customer that will create memories for a life time.

Quick reminder before your summer travels: get your travel insurance NOW

You do not want to be traveling internationally without it. Delays, cancellations, lost luggage, medical emergencies — it’s one of those things you hope you never need, but you’ll be glad you have. Plus if you can afford to travel internationally, you can afford travel insurance, it’s not that expensive.

Just do it.

Save this as a reminder before your next trip & send it to your travel buddy.

Top 5 things saving my life right now!

1. Getting up early.

- I know I know everyone says get up before kids. I have NEVER been a morning person. In fact I have always struggled getting up in the morning, however Tyler until recently was needing to nurse around 4-5 AM and I started staying up after I would feed him and I was loving the quiet time in my house with everyone asleep. Staying up after bedtime would usually be a challenge because I was so tired to enjoy enjoy the quiet. I love it right now. Will it change? maybe but right now I am purposely getting up around 4:30 at least a couple times a week.

2. My daily coffee

- Dunkin’ Donuts ground coffee from Costco. With a tablespoon or so of heavy cream and 1 ice cube. Don’t try to change my mind. This makes me happy EVERY single morning.

3. ADHD medication

- I finally pursued an evaluation for ADHD, and was diagnosed about 3-4 weeks ago. This is the end of my second week on medication and it is gam changing for my work life balance. I can get my work done, AT work. Which means I have my evenings back. And I feel less stressed and overwhelmed at work, and I think my overall work is just better. It almost feels like cheating.

4. Buying clothes that fit me.

- I’m not the size I’d love to be, but as summer is coming and I’m still postpartum with 2 back to back kiddos, 3 kiddos in 4.5 years, I’m just ignoring the size and buying what fits. I have too much going on in my life to have to even think that my pants feel uncomfortable.

5. Chobani zero sugar yogurt drinks for breakfast.

- gets me protein, fills my stomach with something besides coffee keeps me full until lunch. Getting them at Aldis in my weekly grocery order.
