Hey FB Friends with Young Children, If your little ones start to climb the walls and are in need of some exercise and fresh air( and YOU need a break!), I’m offering FREE horseback riding lessons and/or guided hikes beginning on Friday, April 3rd. I will keep the groups small-riding lessons will be hour long, individual sessions and hikes will be in small groups of five or less. We will practice good hygiene- hand washing before and after each activity and the kids will be asked to keep six feet away from each other. We will feel the sun shine on our faces, breath the clean, crisp mountain air, tell stories and laugh And MOST importantly forget about the damn Coronavirus for a couple of hours.

Kids Should:
1) Dress in layers for the weather
2) Pack a lunch, drink and/or snack

I Will:
1) Bring a nature-themed storybook to read aloud
2) Include a craft or scavenger hunt
to stimulate imagination and creativity

First hike into Irving’s Pond on Friday, April 3rd. Meet in the parking lot at the Caroga Municipal Center. Pick up same location at 12:30pm. Stories and crafts outdoors in the gazebo.
