My "Hot Take" on Ai in the shirt space...
{I've never been good at keepin' my opinions to myself - even when other deem it "ungraceful🤪"}
It's driving consumption vs. thoughtful purchases... you see SO many designs like this one poppin up.. it took me 3 seconds to speak a comand into Ai & it generated this... its cool.. yes.. it would have taken me hours to manually create something like this && unlike a lot of these shirt makers poppin up out of no where over night, I have the know how to do it🫣
Q4 starts tomorrow - Ive spent months watching market trends.. predicting what will sell for the Holidays... i have a sneaky suspicion... maybe just hope 🤷
that with all the negative connotation surrounding Ai.. pieces like this will fall out of favor very quickly.. and remain unworn in the back of your closet.. i don't foresee major retailers jumping on board with the over done graphics? I think they are going to date themselves just as quickly as they popped up...
I could be wrong - I am often 🤪 but trying to predict the market vs. following trends is what gives little businesses like mine longevity.. only time will tell!🎲🎲
All that being said - i DO use Ai as a tool.. idk if its avoidable at this point.. its on US to be mindful of how we use it - until safegaurds are put in place for its advancement....
