Loveee the cut of this - got rid of the waist band - took a little off the sleeves & sewed the cuffs in place! I've wanted to try this for a while && finally felt like I could sneak a few minutes this morning to test it out! Cozy like a crew - but not so hot {+ hides that extra fluff Ive been carrying around🤪} been wearing it all day & love it!

Idk how i feel about this design on a top yet. Its the file Ive been using for jeans... 🤔

The absolute best place for market research is volleyball Tournaments, there's schools from all over.. i can see what catches my eye.. What color combinations, fonts, design layouts, graphics... What's overdone.. past its prime or trends are just starting.. it's the perfect place to scout textures, new brands, styles... which is good for me - because I spend a lot of time in the bleachers! 🤪

ANDD a quick shout out to these 2 while they're both busy with volleyball && jobs of their own right now... They are always more than willing to step in & help me deliver, press, fold, sort, package... whatever I need!!

{{I always joke with them... There's no generational wealth here... All Ive got to give ya is a good work ethic!😅}}

Heeeyyyy guys. 🫣
I'm here. End of July / early August got crazy! {In the BEST way} Sales sky rocketed. 🙌 I quit posting aka Marketing so i could keep up & slow the flow of orders - there was a time i thought id have to shut down the website!.. i quit responding to protect my mental health.. after 15 years in the game - ive learned its more productive to keep my head down grinding then sit at my computer all day responding when things get wild like this! - probably terrible business practice i know {however im ALWAYS willing to refund if you dont want to wait!!} Lots of new customers recently didnt realize im a one women show opperating out of my basement.. it takes time go crank out 1000s of orders! - My daughters have been so helpful in the midst of their own crazy seasons!! Beyond blessed for each of them!!!

Im heading to Spencer & Fort Dodge to drop off big orders - Gruber Shirts are all delivered, shipped or in the bench! - ive got my website down to 140 open orders!! 🙌🙌 Good lord willing and the creek dont rise those will ALL {except 3} be done tomorrow!!

Lots of lessons {& Mistakes} in this! I can not THANK YOU ALLLLL ENOUGH FOR YOUR PATIENCE, KIND WORDA && UNDERSTANDING. 🫶 YOU keep microbusinesses - where creativity flourishes alive!!

It's been torture to not be able to create anything new for the last month. I am so ready to get back into designing.I've got fun ideas coming your way!

I had to waste a little time in town between UberMom gigs tonight.. so I started on a project thats been in my head since I made my daughter's senior jeans a few weeks ago!! Im hoping to get a chance to work on it tomorrow before a WILD week ahead! 🤩🤩

Because I love over sharing & letting YOU guys know the stats you help me reach.. marketonmaple.com (not including the "stores") is up ONE THOUSAND PLUS PERCENT over last August alone & up 41% YoY! 🤯 great place to be gearing up for Q4! {However - it has created some growing "pains" weve worked out & created smoother processes to handle the influx!}

When I say in home business I mean IN HOME.. when Market on Maple gets an influx of orders {{THANK YOU!🙌}} it takes over the entire basement! We've discussed getting rid of this theather seating in our 1960 Farm House's basement because no one ever uses this space, but i have to say - it is convient for sorting small-3xl crews! 🤪 Each gets a chair.
Ive beem trying to stay away from my computer to get caught up on orders - which are currently being treated in a triage situation. - we will be back to normal soon! My sincerest appoligies if your waiting for a response!

Not bad for a one‑woman operation working out of a rural basement with a love for making cool things. Winning it once was humbling... Winning it twice feels like proof that small‑town hustle matters!!
