SICC Index Review: WINCOS 90 Automotive Film

Our SICC Index breaks every film down into four categories:

• Shrinkability
• Install-ability
• Color
• Clarity

WINCOS 90 scored a 37.

Its biggest strengths? Outstanding shrinkability and crystal-clear optics. The clarity on this film is excellent, making it a strong option for high-VLT applications.

One thing that immediately stood out: this is the thinnest automotive window film I’ve ever handled.

That ultra-thin construction can be a double-edged sword. Experienced installers may appreciate how it handles, but it could make installation more challenging for others, especially if you’re used to thicker films.

Today was the fifth and final day of the Geoshield Academy. 🎓

These nine individuals came into the Academy, not knowing how to tint windows…

Today they leave the academy, confident ready to tackle new challenges and start putting their newly acquired skill, set to work and earn some money 💵

Truly a blessing to be a part of this experience and super rewarding to be able to contribute back to the Window Tint industry. 🙏

This week I was invited as a guest to teach at the Geoshield academy. It’s been a pleasure to train and see the development of nine aspiring Window Film installers. Special thanks to Geoshield for Building and facilitating the best training facility in the United States.

Today I got a VIP tour of Geoshield’s headquarters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

It was awesome getting a behind-the-scenes look at everything that goes into the company—from the office space where the day-to-day business happens to the operations that keep everything moving. It’s always interesting to see what most people never get to see.

A big thank you to the Geoshield team for the hospitality. Looking forward to seeing what’s next!
