GossHawk Unlimited, Inc. We are an aircraft restoration and maintenance facility, specializing in warbird and vintage aircraf

GossHawk Unlimited is an aircraft restoration and maintenance facility, specializing in warbird and vintage aircraft. We have experience with a wide array of aircraft; ranging from World War I wood and cloth airframes, to the more modern jet era airplanes. Our facility is 22,890 square feet, it was built to accommodate a B-17 project; we also have our own private 30,000 square foot ramp outside the hangar, enclosed in our fenced area. In order to perform a variety of inspections and repairs, our GossHawk employees have A&P and IA licenses. In addition to restorations, GossHawk performs annual, condition, progressive and 100 hour inspections; along with component repairs, engine maintenance, engine changes and structural repairs, both major and minor. GossHawk is known for its museum quality restoration capabilities, which is not only offered to museums but also to the warbird community.

A little wash, a little oil… okay, A LOT of oil!

The PB4Y-2 Privateer is getting the full treatment at GossHawk Unlimited as we prepare her for her trip this weekend!

First up- a good wash to get her looking sharp. Then it was time to give her a drink… and top off the oil!

Cleaned up, topped off, and getting closer to takeoff!

She will take off at 12:30 tomorrow afternoon and head for Spanish Fork, Utah.

Look Who Came Snortin’ into the Shop!

Dan Kirkland brought his Yak-9, better known as “Ol’ Snort”, into GossHawk Unlimited this week for a condition inspection!

There’s just something about having a Yak in the hangar that adds a little extra attitude to the shop. Our crew will be giving Ol’ Snort a thorough look over and making sure everything is ready for plenty more adventures in the sky.

Back in the Pilot’s Seat!
Last week, Scott Urschel flew in with his neighbor to pick up his sleek T-6 after spending some time with the GossHawk crew.

Scott Urschel’s T-6 was out getting some fresh air while the GossHawk Crew fired her up for taxi tests and to break in the brakes.
