A BIG resolution in honor of the man that started BIG things in a Small town, Casey, IL!

Today we honored the life of Jim Bolin,who was widely known and loved throughout Casey and beyond for his record-breaking assortment of comically large objects!

Jim was the creator of 'Big Things in a Small Town' and produced a reputation for building gigantic objects, but he was also known for his faith and unwavering devotion to his family.

So we created a 6' tall Resolution for his family!

Last week, our Bolin companies and the Casey community experienced a significant loss with the passing of Jim Bolin, our Vice President and the visionary behind “Big Things in a Small Town.” Jim’s creativity, leadership, and passion for this community will continue to inspire us for years to come.

Externally, our operations will continue without interruption. Our customers can expect the same high-quality service, professionalism, and dedication they have always received.

Internally, the strong foundation built by Ed, Judy, Troy, and Jim across Bolin Enterprises, JJET Leasing, Bolin Autos Trucks Tires, Bolin Fuel Oil Propane, and T-Bilt Customs remains firmly in place. Our leadership teams are committed to carrying forward Jim’s legacy with the same values and culture that have driven our success. With the support and guidance of Judy and Troy, Drew Bolin will be stepping into Jim’s role—something Jim had thoughtfully prepared for over the past several years. We are confident in this transition and excited to see Drew continue to lead with strength, integrity, and vision.

Our Bolin companies and the Casey community experienced a profound loss yesterday. Jim Bolin, Vice President of Bolin Enterprises and the visionary behind Big Things in A Small Town, passed away after sustaining injuries during a snowmobile trip.

Jim was widely known as a man of deep faith, unwavering devotion to his family, and genuine friendship to all who knew him. He lived those values every single day. As his family continues to grieve the recent passing of his father, we ask that you keep them in your prayers for strength, comfort, and peace during this incredibly difficult time.

At Bolin Enterprises, Bolin Autos - Trucks - Tires, Bolin Fuel - Oil - Propane, T-Bilt Customs, and JJET Rental, Sales & Service, our leadership teams remain committed to honoring Jim’s legacy.
