Sometimes the wait for your checked luggage feels longer than you'd expect. The truth is, our SkyWest team works hard to get bags off the plane and to baggage claim in 10-15 minutes.

So why does it feel so long? Your walk from the gate to the baggage claim area is only a handful of minutes, which means you may be waiting 10 minutes for your bags. In a larger airport, you spend more time walking to the baggage claim, so while the time to get the bags out is similar, if not longer at a larger airport, your active time is much shorter in our terminal.

Doc visited us last week (6/11) on the way to an air show in Washington. One of only two still flying B-29 Superfortresses, of course folks from across the airport got pictures.

Yesterday, B-29 Doc stopped by to refuel on the way to Washington state for an air show out west.

A huge thank you to the team for letting us get into one of two airworthy B-29 Superfortresses left in the world so we could share it with our community.

Doc's incredible story from being produced in 1944, to being found in the Mojave dessert in 1987, to now touring the country as a flying museum can be found online at https://www.b29doc.com.

Summer is here, and that means our team is hard at work at the Wyoming Regional ARFF Training Facility.

We offer hands-on Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting training to airports around the state and the region. Part of that training includes live response to simulated burns, so, if you see smoke at the Airport - don't be concerned!

These burns will be going on periodically through the summer to provide realistic situations and scenarios for those Aircraft Firefighters getting initial certification or attending their annual live burn training requirement.
