The Tulsa Port of Catoosa's Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) dock was built for cargo that doesn't fit the standard mold.

Designed to handle oversized and over-dimensional shipments up to 1,200 tons, the dock connects directly to rail service, the SH-266 high-wide corridor, and the inland waterway system.

These options are what make the Tulsa Port of Catoosa a powerhouse in moving complex cargo efficiently across multiple modes of transportation.

What can Tulsa learn from some of Europe's leading ports?

In June, David Yarbrough and Sheila Shook joined the Inland Rivers, Ports & Terminals (IRPT) European Summit, a seven-day study tour, and attended Breakbulk Europe, an industry conference. This trip brought together inland waterway leaders from the U.S. and Europe to share ideas and explore emerging trends in the maritime industry.

Key lessons included how shared data improves efficiency across supply chains and how strong public-private partnerships help drive long-term growth.

We're excited to bring these insights home as we continue investing in the future of the Tulsa Port of Catoosa. 🌍⚓
